To submit abstracts it is necessary to be registered in the Congress and access the “Registration Area” of the main menu on the website, enter the email and password you have registered and click on “Submissão de Resumos”;
It is not necessary to pay the fee at registration. You can do it later after the confirmation your abstract has been accepted;
When register for multidisciplinary events, the attendee will be able to submit abstracts according to the rules described for the submission of abstracts.

RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Only abstracts submitted in accordance with the instructions given shall be considered;
The author who will submit the abstract must first register at the Congress;
They should be edited and submitted online, and copying from another program (usually WORD) is possible;
We do not take responsibility for typing errors;
Each person may submit up to 10 abstracts per registration. It is possible to add 10 authors, 1 author and 9 co-authors;
Abstracts written in Portuguese and English shall be accepted;
Encore studies shall be accepted. Case Reports shall be accepted;
Attention! Abstracts not finalized in the system shall not go through selection and shall be automatically discarded;
The Evaluation Committee of free themes will assess the abstracts and select only those that are in accordance with the rules defined for this event;
Disclosures: Any potential conflict of interest must be disclosed, including those of personal, professional, employment, politic and/or financial nature, as well as the interests associated with patents or properties, supply of material and/or inputs and equipment used in the study. The authors are responsible for disclosing all the relationship of any nature that may have any bias or been considered as biases in the development of their study.
Accepted abstracts will be presented in the format of Poster;
All approved abstracts will be available in an exclusive area of the HEMO 2023 Congress; it is also important to engage the authors in the promotion of their abstracts;
For each abstract submitted, regardless of category, a single certificate will be issued in the name of the presenter and co-author(s). No further alteration/amendment shall be allowed;
All the abstracts approved shall be in the HTCT – Hematology Transfusion and Cell Therapy under the title HEMO 2023 Annals;


TEXT FORMATING

The limited number of characters is 3,500 (counting is given automatically by the system and includes “space”, special characters, and title).

The structure of the text shall obey the following order:
Title – must be objective and informative, no acronyms, allowing the appreciation of the subject addressed in the study;
Authors – please make sure authors’ names are typed correctly and written in full. Agnomina must be split by hyphen (for example Silva-Filho, Silva-Neto, Silva-Sobrinho, Silva-Junior);
Institutions – please include the full name of the institution and the acronym in brackets), city, state, country. Ex: Universidade de São Paulo (USP), SP, Brasil; Objectives – must express clearly the theoretical assumptions and rationale of the study;
Material and Methods;
Results – must present the relevant results in a clear and brief way, based on the applied methodology;
Discussion – discussion of results, arguing and supporting the findings;
Conclusion – must be related to objectives and results. The use of graphs, figures, tables and references will not be allowed;
Funding information shall not be considered;
It is not allowed to make any changes to the abstract/study content after concluding the submission process;
After the end of submission, the Scientific Committee will judge the studies and will issue their decision;
The list of approved abstracts will be published on the HEMO 2023 website. The announcement that the result is already available on the official page of the Congress will be made through the social media of @abhhoficial.

DATES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISISON AND APPROVAL


Submission of the paper can be confirmed through the "Finalizado" status in the submission program, a notification will also be sent to the corresponding author confirming the submission;
The studies approved by the Evaluation Committee will be presented on time to be included in the Official Scientific Program of the Congress;
The result of the studies selected for oral presentation or panel will be announced later on the official website of the Congress, as well as the presentation date and place;
The best studies in each area will be considered for oral presentation within the module equivalent to their theme;
The studies selected for oral presentation will not be presented as panels;
There will be no deadline extension for abstract submission.

EVALUATION COMMITTEE

The Evaluation Committee of the scientific studies is composed of members of major contribution in the field of hematology and hemotherapy in Brazil. Each abstract will be evaluated by three different members who will give whole number grades, ranging from 1 (worst) to 4 (best), taking into account the following criteria:
• Importance of the study in the Brazilian scientific scenario;
• Originality, contribution to Science advance, technical mastery of the methods proposed;
• Conflict of interest.

Oral presentation of the best papers in the Plenary Session.
